Fantasia Brasil 2, the second album by the duo Rafael Beck & Felipe Montanaro, has just been released on digital platforms by the Biscoito Fino label. Acclaimed for their
originality and virtuosity, the young São Paulo musicians—Rafael, 25, and Felipe, 19—offer the public a unique musical experience, where every chord is a revelation.

The Duo’s brilliance shines through in the way they reinvent instrumental music, blending rhythms, harmonies, and melodies in unexpected and captivating ways. Free from predictable patterns, their sophisticated arrangements and compositions mark this work with distinction at every moment. The album invites listeners on a sonic journey filled with nuances, where creative freedom meets technical excellence.

The repertoire presents a fusion of Brazilian music classics alongside an original composition by the Duo, breathing new life into iconic songs. Among the reinterpretations are Sapato Velho (Mú Carvalho, Cláudio Nucci, Paulinho Tapajós), Refazenda (Gilberto Gil), and Aprendendo a Jogar (Guilherme Arantes). In addition, the album features the vibrant original piece 20.23, composed by Rafael Beck and Felipe Montanaro, as well as an emotional instrumental medley of Oia Eu Aqui de Novo and Forró no Escuro (Antônio Barros, Luiz Gonzaga), which revives the essence of Northeastern Brazilian music with an innovative touch.
